Objective:To observe the goldthread in vitro antibacterial activity. Method:M-H agar dilution method was used to detect the continuous determination of antibacterial effect, and measured the minimum inhibitory concentration of various traditional Chinese medicine.Result:The MIC of the goldthread on Staphylococus aureus was 8mg/ml, when the goldthread liquid concentration is 4mg/ml, nearly half of the growth of Staphylococcus aureus was inhibited. Conclusion:Goldthread has obvious inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus.
