Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing on gastrointestinal surgery. Methods: the object of this study selected 100 cases in our hospital, were the 2012 years to 2013 January were gastrointestinal surgery patients, randomly according to the observation group and the control group with 50 cases in each division, the control group with routine nursing, the observation group to rapid rehabilitation nursing, clinical data of two groups.Results: the patients in the observation group the first defecation time, recovery time of eating significantly earlier than the control group (P<0.05), mean hospital stay, hospital costs significantly less than the control group (P<0.05). The complication rate of observation group was 6%, control group, the complication rate was 16%, the difference was statistical y significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery nursing for patients with gastrointestinal operation, can significantly shorten treatment time, reduce medical costs, speed up the progress of rehabilitation, reduce the incidence of complications, the prevention of improved significantly, with a very positive clinical significance.
