Objective:To assess aluminum pol ution of in different kinds of food in Wuxi market. Methods:Determination of aluminum content by ICP-OES method.Results:A total of 88 samples were examined with the qualified rate of 61%. The aluminum pol ution in cold noodle, jel yfish and steamed bread is very serious. But the contents of aluminum in laver, rice cakes and potato chips are lower than the national standard limit. Conclusion:The abuse of aluminized loose agent is mainly due to food contained excessive aluminum, which should be paid more at ention to ensure the food safety and human health.
