objective: study the reatment methods and curative effect of tibial plateau fracture. Methods: there are 45 cases which are by locking tibial condyle steel plate combine with cancellous bone screw for treatment of tibial plateau fracture, 27male and 18 female were aged 42 years. From injury to operation was 2 h ~ 2 weeks, al application of locking plate in combination with cancellous bone screw internal fixation treatment. Results: al cases received fol ow-up 8 ~ 24 months, average 16 months. The knee joint function according to Merchant [1] criteria, excellent in 27 cases, good in 15 cases, qualified in 3 cases, the fine rate was 93.3%. Conclusion: Locking tibial condyle steel plate combine with cancellous bone tension screw for treatment of tibial plateau fractures is an effective method of internal fixation,which is fixed and reliable, effectively prevent the joint surface fixed from close and exercise articular surface height loss again, for early functional exercise, recovery of knee joint function, reduce the postoperative complications.
