Objective:to observe the cognitive status of undergraduate nursing students on evidence-based nursing in order to provide a reference for the nursing teaching reform. Methods:A self-designed questionnaire EBN, conducted a questionnaire survey to the 2013 session undergraduate nursing students in clinic practice in Chengdu area, the questionnaire covering a total of seven factors, it includes the knowledge of evidence-based nursing , the way to understand and the evidents to solve the problem, the ability to access information, the difficulties to face, the factor to affecting the implementation and the wil ingness to learn. Results:nursing students lack of evidence-based nursing knowledge, evidence-based practice ability is general y low, but a strong desire to learn. Conclusion:schools and nursing teachers should changing concepts of education, improve teaching methods, updating educational model to improve the actual clinical nursing skil s of nursing students and using evidence-based thinking to solve the problem when they join the clinic work.
