objective: external fixator for bone in the application of modern orthopaedic trauma were analyzed. Methods: the data selected from January 2012 to March 2012 to our hospital orthopedic limbs long bone fracture patients 96 cases, divided into two groups, group external fixator, control group adopts the traditional treatment, from the general data, treatment methods and effects of treatment were analyzed. Results: two groups of patients with surgical treatment of each index in the comparison, the research team in operation time, blood loss and the incidence of postoperative complications significantly lower than the control group; And the team after treatment the total effective rate of 95.83%, significantly higher than the control group after treatment the total effective rate of 79.17%, compared are statistical y significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion:the bone external fixator in the application of modern orthopaedic trauma has obvious advantages, has important value to improve curative effect, worth in the clinical application and spread.
