Objective:In order to provide a reference for the operation management of regional blood supply chain, a performance assessment model is proposed. Methods:With three indicators of clinical blood supply assurance rate, the discarded rate of outdated blood and the residual risk of transfusion-transmit ed HIV being chosen, a similarity measure formula of Intuitionistic fuzzy sets is applied to construct a model for the operation performance assessment of regional blood supply chain, further, the model’s effectiveness is analyzed. Results:In the case of the indicators of the discarded rate of outdated blood and the residual risk of transfusion-transmit ed HIV not being ideal values, even though clinical blood supply assurance rate indicator was good, the operation performance of regional blood supply chain would stil be ordinary. Conclusions:The increase of regional blood supply chain operation performance depends on both blood supply safety and quality safety at the same time.
