Objective:To investigate the correlation of neonatal pathologic jaundice and infectious pneumonia. Methods:271 cases of diagnosed neonatal pathologic jaundice in our hospital from January 2012 to June 2012 were taken chest X-ray examination, and analyze its correlation of Neonatal Pathologic Jaundice and Infectious Pneumonia. Results:Among al the cases, 74 cases (27.31%)related to some infectious agents;Among them, 61 cases (22.51%)with Infectious pneumonia, 9 cases (3.32%) with neonatal septicemia, 2 cases with neonatal herpes, accounted for 0.74%,1 case(0.37%) with urinary system infection, 1 cases(0.37%) with intestinal infection.Among al 61 neonatal pneumonia cases, 40 cases(65.57%) with respiratory symptoms, and 21cases(34.43%) without. Conclusion:Infection is the main cause of Neonatal Pathologic Jaundice, and neonatal pneumonia accounted for a large proportion, most of them without typical symptoms, so misdiagnosis and missed analysis easily occurs. Thus, clinical doctors should find the real reasons to eliminate neonatal pneumonia and take anti-infection treatment.
