Objective:TO dicuss the clinical accuracy(the size and shape) with echocardiography in the assess of PDA.Methods:Retrospectively analyzed the clinicial data of 63 patients with PDA with transcatheter closure from November 2009 to December 2012,focused on the size and shape of PDA. Comparatived the rssults of echocardiography to caidiac catheterization.Results:About PDA detection ,there was no difference by transthoracic echocardiography or aortography in typical PDA,but there were significant difference in smal and large PDA .The devices were successful y implanted in 61 patients, among coils were implanted in 7 and Amplatzer duct occluder in 54 patients, of 1case was misdiagnosised . Conculusion:Echocardiography is the best way to diagnosis PDA, and can depict it fairly correct and detailed.
