Health education is a planned, organized and systematic education activities, which makes the patient adopt healthy behavior and life style consciously and eliminate or reduce risk factors that affect health. To educate patients to establish the concept of health and choose healthy behavior is the core of health education. Health education is an important measure to prevent complications and promote rehabilitation in stroke patients. Our department established the ward of stroke patients and also a comprehensive health education management model according to the characteristics of the ward in September 2011, which had achieved good results.
