Purpose: To observe the state of abutment’s periodontal tissues that patients with advanced periodontitis are treated by magnetic at achment overdenture.Methods:35 patients who are advanced periodontal disease and 62 abutment are treated by magnetic at achment overdenture, checked and recorded that before the repaired(periodontal treatment 3 months later) and after the repair 1 year later and 2 years later, abutment plaque index , gingival index , periodontal pocket probing depth, at achment lost ( alveolar bone height ) and loose to log analysis.Results: After treated by magnetic at achment magnetic, abutment gums index higher than periodontal treatment which occurred 3months before(p<0.05), plaque index , probing pocket depth , alveolar bone height and difference were no significant difference(p>0.05), loose was less than the before, the difference was significant (p<0.05).Conclusion: Patients who are advanced periodontal disease, to treat by magnetic at achment overdenture is feasible.
