Study of the middle school students’ knowledge about AIDS public health education intervention effects
Objective:Through the intervention of middle school students’ AIDS knowledge, to understand the situation of Zhaoqinq middle school students’ AIDS knowledge, and to explore the intervention factors which can improve the middle school students’ AIDS knowledge. Establishing a set of sex education and AIDS health intervention process which suits for middle school students, to raise the middle school students’ awareness of AIDS knowledge, and the effective way which can curb the spread of AIDS among adolescents, to promote the middle school students’ healthy psychological and behavior.Method:Having the spot investigation, developing questionnaires, as wel as the knowledge training to investigators from February to December in 2012. After the proposed interventions from February to December in 2013 went on to survey. Choosing 1866 middle school students from Zhaoqinq middle school,they were randomly divided into experiment group and control group. Conducting AIDS health education intervention, both experiment group and control group used questionnaires. Comparing the middle school students’ AIDS-related knowledge and related psychological behavior between experiment group and control group.Result:A total of 1866 middle school students ,both experiment group and control group distributed 933 questionnaires. The control group took back 933 questionnaires. The experiment group took back 896 questionnaires. The recovery ratios are 100% and 96.03% respective.The degree of the concern of AIDS for the students in the experiment group is higher than the control group . The measures which were taken are affirmed.Conclusion:Through various forms of health education, significantly increased the level of students' knowledge of AIDS and effectively promoted their healthy psychological behavior. AIDS is not just a disease in the medical sense, it is more a social problem1,2].To make the students develop a good habit before they entering the society, establish the prevention awareness and skils to AIDS, and curb the spread of AIDS among adolescents[3].
