Minimally invasively percutaneous nephrolithotomy with holmium laser for upper ureteric calculi complicated with renal calculi
Objective: To investigate the effect of minimaly invasively percutaneous nephrolithotomy with holmium laser on the patients with upper ureteric calculi complicated with renal calculi.Materials : Totaly 162 patients with upper ureteric calculi complicated with renal calculi admited to Meishan people’s Hospital were treated by minimaly invasively percutaneous nephrolithotomy with holmium laser, and the duration of stone surgery, the stone clearance rate, the days of hospitalization and the complications were assessed, used as the main indices in evaluation of the therapeutic effect. Results: Al the patients were treated by single channel with no severe complication, 130 cases were treated in one session,32 cases had the second stage operation, the stone clearance rate was 90.1%, the average duration of stone surgery was 55(45~70) minutes, and the average hospital stay was 9(7~13) days. Conclusions: Minimaly invasively percutaneous nephrolithot omy with holmium laser for upper ureteric calculi complicated with renal calculi has advantage of less invasive and complication, high stone clearance rate and earlier return to work, and the soft tissue lesions of the ureter can be treated at the same time. It is safe and effective, which should be the first treatment.
