The correlation between H-type hypertension and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
Hypertension , as a kind of common disease threat to people's health seriously.In recent years, according to the risk factors for high blood pressure, scholars at home and abroad put forward the concept of H-type hypertension, which is associated with elevated homocysteine levels (Hcy > 10 umol/l) of high blood pressure. As to this level, H-type hypertension accounted for about 75 percent of the patients with hypertension in our country. Studies have shown that homocysteine has toxic effect on vascular endothelial cels, so it has significant effect on atherosclerosis. H-type hypertension due to have high blood pressure and high homocysteine double risk factors that cause atherosclerosis, thus should be taken seriously gradualy. The active prevention and treatment of H-type hypertension is of great significance for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
