A STUDY OF MYOCARDIAL effect on children with HAND, FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE
To explore the effect of Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease(HFMD) on myocard of children. Methods:we have examined and recorded myocardial enzymes, eletrocarclogram and cTnI in 89 children cases with HFMD,and in 90 cases of children in depantment of childen health care over the same period. Results:The levels and abnormality rate of myocardial enzymes and cTnI in serum were increased in children with HFMD than those in controls(P<0.01); The abnormality rate of ECG in the children with HFMD was 73.0%, ST-T changes was the main abnormality; Partial correlation analysis indicates that CK-MB positively correlated to cTnI.Conclusion:The myocardial damage occurs easly in children with HFMD. myocardial enzymes and cTnI were significantly increased. Most of the ECG abnomal changes. Measuring of myocardial enzyme, cTnI and ECG in early stage can be wel judged the extent of myocardial damage in children with HFMD, and it’s could provide the basis for early clinical diagnosis and therapy.
