Clinical Analysis of Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization Combiened with Surgical Resection in Treatment of 25 Patients Presented with Ruptured Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Objective To study and analysis the clinical efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization( TACE) combined with surgical resection in the treat-ment of ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The clinical date of 80 patients were retrospectively, who presented with ruptured HCC to oua hospital from February 2003 to February 2013.These patients received TACE(n=58),surgical resection(n=22),and sutgical resection after TACE(n=25).Results Shock in 58 patients who receiced TACE was promptlu corrected, and the vital signs were stabilized. On subsequent CT,the tumors shrunk in size.Salvage liver resection was carried out in 25 petients one minth after TACE.After treatment,AFP became normal or decreased, thus the treatment results were good.Aone-stage liver resection was carried out in 22 patients.Three patients died after operation, and peritoneal metastases occurred in thirteen patients.Conculsions TACE efficaciously stopped bleeding from rup-tued HCC,reduced the need for exploration, and improved the rate of resection of HCC.TACE combined with surgical resection significantly lowered the rate of abdominal tumor metastases(P<0.05).
