The effect of AAA Hospital Accreditation on hand Hygiene Compliance
Objective To explore the effect of preparation for the AAA Hospital to promote hand hygiene compliance .Methods Chose employees from July to De-cember,2012 as observation object,according to hand hygiene five indications,hand hygiene compliance questionnaire design,adopt the method of direct observation,re-cord of medical personnel hand hygiene compliance before and after intervention .Results Medical staff hand hygiene compliance in for evaluation after AAA Hospital ,all kinds of hand hygiene compliance of medical staff overall rose to 81.1%from 47.5%,doctors,nurses,education practice and those logistics personnel hand hygiene com-pliance by 38.8%,64% and 36.1% respectively,26.5%,rose to 77.9%,93.3%,71.5%,64.3%;The compliance of hand hygiene indications:cleaned before con-tact with patients before and after contact with body fluids patients/sterile operation,after contact with patients,the hand hygiene compliance of the goods as soon as you contact with patients respectively by 38.5%,57.9%,73.5%,47.3%,42.2% to 79.5%,87.6%,94.8%,80.1%,77.5%.All kinds of medical personnel and the hand hygiene compliance of hand hygiene indications in the difference has statistical significance before and after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion Through for evalu-ation AAA Hospital has taken a series of hand hygiene intervention measures ,to enhance the floor staff hand hygiene consciousness and sense of responsibility ,has obvi-ously improved the hand hygiene compliance .
