High performance fibers and composites are one of Lianyungang's three key industries and the largest industrial base for carbon and polyimide fibers in China.It is of great significance to establish the standard system of high performance fiber and composite materials for standardizing and leading the high quality development of local industry.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems in the standardization of high performance fiber and composite industry in Lianyungang,the framework of the standard system for high performance fiber and composite industry is constructed using the principles and methods of standardization,suggestions on the next steps of Lianyungang's standardization of high performance fibers and composites are also made.
