The concepts such as"massive data"and"big data"had existed in the earlier information technology field, but these concepts only focused on the scale of the data itself, not fully reflecting the data processing and application requirements under the background of the outbreak of data. This paper points out that the new concept of"data"not only refers to the data object in large scale, but also contains the processing and application of data objects. Only by adhering to the synchronous development of"data object, technology and application"can it realize the value of big data.
