With the enhancement of the awareness of cultural heritage protection,the archive management and protection of ancient buildings,an important historical and cultural heritage,is getting increasing attention.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the importance of establishing and improving the standards system of ancient building archives for the protection,management and use of ancient buildings.This paper takes the Palace Museum as an example,analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the management of the archives of ancient buildings,and systematically elaborates on the theoretical basis and practical significance of the construction of the standards system of ancient building archives.It is expected to improve the construction of standards system for ancient building archives by countermeasures and suggestions,in order to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for the protection and sustainable development of China's ancient buildings.
