This paper aims to discuss the construction of a standards system for the jewelry industry,in order to promote standardized management and healthy development of the industry.By analyzing the current status of Chinese jewelry standards and the development trends of international jewelry standards,the problems of current Chinese standards are revealed,such as untimely standard updates,lack of refinement,insufficient standards for new materials and processes,and inadequate regulatory enforcement.In response to these issues,principles,methods,and frameworks for constructing a standards system for the jewelry industry are proposed.At the same time,it is found that the standards in the jewelry industry innovate in aspects of continuously exploring new materials and processes,unique designs,introducing sustainable development concepts,and applying digital technologies.Such innovation drives the updating and upgrading of sectoral standards to meet consumer needs and comply with sustainable development trends.Establishing a sound standards system can improve product quality,enhance consumer trust,and boost industry development.
