Standardization is the basis for the protection of geographical indication products,which helps to build regional characteristic brands,promote the development of geographical indication industry,and improve the quality of geographical indication products.This paper introduces the specific content of geographical indication product standards and their standardisation.Through the analysis of the construction status of the standardization of geographical indication products in Yunnan province,the current situation of the system and practice is expounded,with typical cases of the standardization of geographical indication products such as Baoshan small grain coffee beans,Mouding fermented bean curds,and Puer tea.The paper analyzes the difficulties in the standardization of geographical indication products in Yunnan province,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.
