Interpretation of T/CSPSTC 79-2021,Technical code of practice for urban waterfront landscape
With the progress of China's urbanization and the improvement of people's living standards,urban waterfront areas,as one of the indispensable components in urban public open spaces,have increasingly demonstrated their importance in landscape construction.To standardize the construction of urban waterfront landscape projects,improve quality,and implement the national requirements of sponge city construction,T/CSPSTC 79-2021,Technical code of practice for urban waterfront landscape,is developed and released.This standard is jointly developed by multiple units,which extensively solicits opinions and absorbs the opinions of professional practitioners.It was officially released and implemented in December 2021.The main technical content of the standard includes criteria for overall design and detailed design,covering the requirements for waterfront landscape design and construction at three levels:land area,land water transition area,and water area.The standard has filled the gap in the design specifications of urban waterfront landscape projects in China,bringing significant economic and social benefits to improving and strengthening the quality of waterfront landscape construction,and driving the development of related industries.
