Demonstrating design is the source of equipment capability management and life cycle management.It is also the most fundamental and critical aspect in the entire process of equipment development and construction.The paper elaborates the characteristics of quality management work of demonstration design units,and analyzes the main contradictions and problems from the perspectives of quality awareness,responsibility implementation,methods and means,as well as process control.Taking a demonstration design unit in the aerospace industry as an example,the paper systematically reviews the exploration experience of demonstration design units in carrying out quality management system design and practice during the process of quality improvement.The working effectiveness under the operation of this system is summarized,providing reference for the construction and operation of quality management system in demonstration and design units.
