With the accelerating process of internationalization,the export of Chinese household electrical appliances is increasingly affected by foreign technical barriers to trade(TBT).The main cause of TBT is foreign technical regulations,and the EU technical regulations are mostly issued in the form of directive.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the impact of the EU directives on the export of Chinese household electrical appliances from the aspects of safety,energy efficiency,electromagnetic compatibility and environmental protection,and puts forward effective countermeasures.The research results will help us understand the technical development trend of the European Union,and provide reference for the export of Chinese household electrical appliances.
