With the continuous development of the social economy,people's demand for meat quality is constantly increasing.The mutton sheep industry has always played an important role in China's animal husbandry industry.The consumption and preference for mutton sheep among urban and rural residents in China are relatively high.The sustained and positive development of the industry can effectively ensure the domestic meat supply and food safety,and play an important role in increasing the income of farmers and herdsmen and stabilizing the social and economic stability of border ethnic minority areas.However,the mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia is also facing a series of standardization issues.Through research and analysis of the standardization status of mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia,this paper aims to solve the difficulties and bottlenecks that constrain the industry,and provide scientific basis for the formulation and implementation of relevant policies and standards.
