Analysis of the Influence of Standardized Collection of Clinical Microbial Specimens on the Accuracy of Clinical Test Results
Objective:To analyze the effect of standardized collection of clinical microbial specimens on the accuracy of test results. Methods:A total of 400 patients from Shanghai Jiading District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine who received microbial specimen examination from January 2023 to January 2025 were randomly divided into the control group and the study group, with 200 patients in each group. The control group received routine specimen collection, and the study group received standardized clinical microbial specimen collection. The positive rate of blood samples, urine samples, sputum samples, stool samples and the total positive detection rate of samples were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in the single positive detection rate of blood samples, urine samples, sputum samples and stool samples between the two groups(P<0.05).The total positive detection rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Standardized collection of clinical microbial samples can improve the accuracy of pathogenic microbial examination, and it is worthy of clinical application.
