Analysis of the Impact of Descriptive Standardized Ultrasound Reports on the Diagnosis of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma
Objective:To analyze the effect of descriptive standardized ultrasound report on the diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma.Methods:From January 2021 to December 2022,200 patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma diagnosed by surgical examination in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College/Nuclear Industry 416 Hospital were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether standardized description was applied,100 cases were included in the control group without descriptive standardized ultrasound report and 100 cases were included in the analysis group with descriptive standardized ultrasound report.The defective rate of ultrasound report and the TI-RADS grading score were compared between the two groups.Results:A total of 5 reports in the control group had problems,and the adverse report rate was 5.00%,while there were no adverse reports in the analysis group(P<0.05).Among 100 patients in the control group,78 malignant nodules and 22 benign nodules were diagnosed without TI-RADS grading,and the diagnostic accuracy was 78.00%;Among 100 patients in the analysis group,89 malignant nodules and 11 benign nodules were diagnosed with TI-RADS grading,and the diagnostic accuracy was 89.00%(P<0.05).Conclusion:The descriptive standardized ultrasound report has a good effect on the diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma,which is conducive to improving the diagnostic accuracy,and can improve the readability and integrity of the report,which is worthy of popularization and application.
