Abstract
English is a universal language, which has a significant influence all over the world. It has been described by Mitrevsk （1999） that ＂English is already used widely, with simple grammar, great scientific and literary achievements.＂ De Klerk （1999） also declares that the world-wide power of English should not be denied. From his thesis it can be seen that he believes English stands in a dominant place as a global language, and it makes an impact on international communication and development.
