Comparison and Implementation of Graphical Edge Methods
In this paper, a number of methods of color images and gray images for edge detection are compared. A new method of data fusion for the edge detection of gray images is proposed based on the advantages and disadvantages of different methods. The methods of sobel operator and wavelet edge detection are used to detect the edges, and then weighted average method is used to fuse and get a clearer boundary edge image. For the color images, I compared the method of calculating the edge of the image gradient directly in the RGB color space with the method of calculatinq the nradient of the component imaaes.
