1914年,由中华博物研究会于上海创办的《博物学杂志》是我国最早的生物学期刊之一.《博物学杂志》以"调查全国物产及其区系,研究学术,交换智识,改良教科,促进实业"为宗旨.它通过刊登大量有关生物学的研究文章、改良生物学教材、规范生物学名词等,传播了丰富的生物学知识,推动了中国近代博物学向近代生物学的转变,促进了我国近代生物学以及近代生物学期刊的发展.
Abstract
The Journal of Natural History,founded by the China Natural History Society in Shanghai in 1914,is one of the earliest biological journals in China.The journal aims to investi-gate the nation's natural products and their flora,advance academic research,exchange knowl-edge,improve education,and promote development of the industry.By publishing a large number of research articles on biology,improving biology teaching materials,and standardizing biology terminology,the journal disseminated extensive biological knowledge,facilitated the transition from modern natural history to modem biology in China,and contributed to the development of modern biology and modern biological journals in China.
