晚清民国时期殿本逐渐从深宫之中流散出来,成为收藏家们着力购藏的对象,也造就了陶湘等一批著名的殿本藏家.晚清时期殿本的大规模石印,改变了原先有限的流播方式,使其化身千百.北京故宫是殿本的发源地,亦为殿本陈设、存藏的最重要处所.故宫展开了馆藏殿本的全面清理工作,对殿本进行系统陈列、阅览、编目和出版,相继刊行了《故宫所藏殿板书目》《故宫殿本书库现存目》等殿本目录,成绩卓著.陶湘则是民国时期收藏、整理和研究殿本的代表性人物,主持了故宫殿本图书编订工作,编订了《故宫殿本书库现存目》等书目,还撰写了详细考述殿本源流的《清代殿版书始末记》,其对殿本整理、保护、收藏、流通利用的理念和实践至今仍具有重要价值.
Abstract
During the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,the editions of classics printed by imperial decree gradually spread beyond the deep confines of the imperial palace,and were sought after by collectors,leading to the rise of renowned collectors like Tao Xiang.The mass lithographic printing of these editions in the late Qing period expanded their previously limit-ed circulation,and increased their availability.The Forbidden City,the birthplace of these edi-tions,remained the most important location for their display and storage.Comprehensive efforts were made in the Forbidden City,including systematic exhibition,reading,cataloging,and pub-lication of these editions.This led to the publication of catalogs such as The Bibliography of the E-ditions of Classics Printed by Imperial Decree in the Forbidden City and The Existing Catalog of the Editions of Classics Printed by Imperial Decree in the Forbidden City,marking significant achieve-ments.Tao Xiang was a representative figure in the collection,organization,and research of these editions during the Republic of China.He supervised the compilation of The Existing Cata-log of the Editions of Classics Printed by Imperial Decree in the Forbidden City and authored the detailed study A Record of the Beginning and End of the Editions of Classics Printed by Imperial Decree in Qing Dynasty,which remains valuable for ideas and practices regarding the organiza-tion,protection,collection,and circulation of these editions.
