OBJECTIVE To understand the development of primary patriotic public health service in Shanghai,and to summarize the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of grassroots patriotic public health campaign development.METHODS Using the existing data collection method,it collected existing literature,document and data on primary patriotic public health ser-vice in Shanghai;using the qualitative research method,it interviewed primary patriotic public health service managers,practitioners and experts.The SWOT analysis method was used as a framework for analysis.RESULTS The survey found that grassroots patriotic public health campaign in Shanghai as a whole gradually clarified the management responsibilities of departments,the services were gradually standardized,and the satisfaction and access of residents continued to improve.However,there were still problems such as weak personnel team building,imperfect management and assessment work,low efficiency,and uneven work effectiveness.CONCLU-SION As socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold of a new era,Shanghai should continue to improve primary patriotic public health service work system,strengthen the personnel team,strengthen supervision,firmly grasp the opportunity to pro-mote primary patriotic public health service into a new stage of development.
