Analysis of Pathogen Spectrum Characteristics of Influenza-like Illness Surveillance in Tianshui from 2019 to 2024
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the changes in epidemic trends of influenza-like illness(ILI)viruses in Tianshui area from January 2019 to February 2024,so as to provide reference for disease prevention and control.METHODS 8 126 patients with ILI who visited outpatient clinics or were hospitalized in sentinel hospitals from January 2019 to February 2024 were the research subjects. The collected specimens were tested for common influenza viruses.Datas were statistically analyzed in different seasons, years, and age groups.RESULTS The detection rate of influenza virus among 8 126 ILI cases was 9.97%(810/8 126).The detection rate of influenza virus in 2019 was the highest, with a positive composition ratio of 39.75%.There was a significant difference in the number of cases in each month, with a higher number in March,April, and December.Preschool and school-age children are the high-risk population for infection, with 396 positive cases and a positive proportion of 48.89%.Winter and spring are the peak seasons for influenza virus infections. The virus with the highest detection rate was influenza B virus subtype Victoria, with a positive composition ratio of 39.01%.Influenza A virus subtype H3N2 and influenza A virus subtype new H1N1 also had a high positive composition ratio.CONCLUSION The distribution of viruses in Tianshui from 2019 to 2024 is dominated by influenza B virus subtype Victoria, influenza A virus subtype H3N2,and influenza A virus subtype new H1N1.The composition of pathogens varies in different seasons, years, and age groups.Their distribution and epidemic characteristics provide the experimental data and theoretical basis for the prevention and control of ILI.
