Analysis of Adverse Reactions in Children Receiving Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus Vaccine
OBJECTIVE To explore the occurrence of adverse reactions of diphtheria pertussis tetanus(DPT)vaccination in children and related prevention and nursing.METHODS From January 2021 to June 2023,children who received diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis combined vaccine vaccination in Chengyang Street vaccination clinic in Chengyang District were selected as the research objects.A total of 7 118 doses were administered, including 4 834 doses of basic needles and 2 284 doses of booster needles. To analyze the occurrence of adverse reactions in children vaccinated with basic needle and booster needle, the influencing factors of adverse reactions and the intervention measures.RESULTS A total of 73 children of 7 118 children had adverse reactions, including swelling, pain, induration, fever and crying. The probability of adverse reactions in children vaccinated with booster needles was 1.93%,which was higher than that of basic needles(0.60%).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=29.890,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Children inoculated with adsorbed cell-free diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus vaccine often have adverse reactions. The occurrence of adverse reactions should be carefully analyzed, and vaccination prevention and nursing should be done well to ensure the safety and timeliness of vaccination and protect children's physical and mental health.
