Analysis of Health Literacy Level and Influencing Factors of Residents in Zoucheng from 2020 to 2023
OBJECTIVE To understand the health literacy level of residents in Zouchen and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide scientific basis for formulating health education measures.METHODS Using descriptive epidemiological research method,the data of health literacy monitoring report of residents in Zoucheng from 2020 to 2023 were analyzed.RESULTS A total of 5 358 residents in Zoucheng were investigated from 2020 to 2023,and the overall health literacy level was 27.75%.The health literacy level decreased with the increase of age,increased with the increase of education level,and increased with the increase of annual income.The health literacy level of medical workers was the highest(62.22%),and that of farmers was the lowest(25.27%).Among the three aspects of health literacy,healthy lifestyle and behavior were the highest(34.17%),followed by basic knowledge and ideas(27.47%)and health skills(24.86%).There were statistically significant differences in health literacy levels among residents with different ages,educational levels,occupations and annual incomes.Among the six categories of health literacy,the highest was infectious disease prevention literacy(43.37%),and the lowest was chronic disease prevention literacy(22.34%).There were statistically significant differences in health literacy among residents of different ages,educational levels,occupations and annual incomes.CONCLUSION The health literacy level of Zoucheng residents in 2020(23.68%),2021(28.34%),2022(30.03%)and 2023(32.11%)were all higher than the national level in the same year,showing a steady improvement trend.The Health Literacy in The Healthy China Action(2019-2030)planned by the state has been completed ahead of schedule and 30%of the requirements have been reached by 2030.The basic knowledge and concept literacy of residents in Zouchen is low,the quality of safety and first aid,scientific health concept is obviously insufficient,and the health literacy of chronic disease prevention and treatment needs to be improved.
