Study on the influence of tooth profile of insert hob on rock breaking performance in hard rock geology
In order to reduce the energy consumption ratio of rock-breaking and the stress of contact surface of insert hob,and improve the rock-breaking efficiency and service life of insert hob in hard rock geology,LS-DYNA was used to establish the simulation model of display dynamics. The reliability of the model was verified by experiments. The rock breaking mechanism of insert gear hob and rock breaking efficiency of different tooth shape are analyzed by simulation, and the better tooth shape is determined.Through orthogonal test, the influences of tooth width, tooth height, tooth tip radius and tooth number on rock breaking efficiency and stress value of contact surface were analyzed. The influence weight of tooth shape parameters on rock breaking energy was determined. The results show that the rock breaking efficiency of tooth hob was highest under the hard rock geology of 118 MPa.The tooth tip radius was the most important factor affecting the rock breaking efficiency, and the weight reached 50%.The tooth number and tooth tip height were the main factors affecting the stress value of contact surface, and the weight accounted for 31%and 36%,respectively.The optimal combination of tooth profile parameters was that tooth width 11 mm,tooth tip height 1mm,tooth tip radius 10 mm,and the number of teeth was 36.The research is instructive for the tooth shape selection and parameter optimization of insert hob.
