Synthesis and gas sensitivity analysis of NO2 sensing materials
Partial discharge is a common electrical phenomenon in air switchgear, which can cause the deterioration of insulation media and even lead to insulation damage.Gas component analysis method can determine the degree of partial discharge by detecting the content of NO2 in the air switch cabinet. In this paper,PdO-decorated porous nano-ZnO materials were synthesized by hydrothermal method to make a gas sensor which can be used to detect partial discharge characteristic gas NO2.The results show that the sensor has a sensitivity of 44.06 to 100×10-6 NO2 gas, with a response time of 24 s,a recovery time of 29 s,a limit detection of 0.1×10-6,and a good linear relationship between sensitivity and NO2 concentration, which can provide reference for gas component analysis to detect partial discharge in air switchgear.
