Effect of clinical nursing pathway on patients with thyroid malignant tumor
Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathway for patients with thyroid malignant tumor,and to provide assistance for clinical nursing of thyroid malignant tumors.Methods A total of 84 patients with thyroid malignant tumor admitted to Tianjin Medical University Chu Hsien-I Memorial Hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were included in the study.The patients were randomly numbered by computer and divided into control group and observation group according to odd and even numbers,with 42 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing and the observation group received clinical nursing pathway.The length of hospital stay,negative emotion score,incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results The length of hospital stay of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,the scores of SAS and SDS were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of complication of the observation group was 2.38％,which was lower than 19.05％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.098,P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was 97.62％,which was higher than 78.57％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.222,P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of clinical nursing pathway on patients with thyroid malignant tumor could effectively reduce the negative emotions of patients in perioperative period,prevent postoperative complications,shorten the length of hospital stay,improve nursing satisfaction rate,which had important clinical application value.
