The impact of early nursing on acquired asthenia in critically ill patients
Objective To explore the impact of early nursing on acquired asthenia in critically ill patients, and to provide guidance for the nursing of critically ill patients with acquired asthenia. Methods A total of 74 patients with critical illness admitted to Gaotang County People's Hospital from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected and divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the study group received early nursing on the basis of the control group. The living ability, muscle strength level, physiological and chronic health levels, hospital stay, incidence of acquired asthenia and nursing satisfaction rate between two groups of patients were compared. Results The Barthel index(BI)and medical research council(MRC)muscle strength score of the study group were higher than those of the control group, while the acute physiology and chronic health evaluation(APACHE Ⅱ)score was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The hospital stay of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, and the incidence of acquired asthenia was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the study group was 97.30%,which was higher than 75.68%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=7.400 0,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of early nursing for critically ill patients could effectively reduce the incidence of acquired asthenia, improve muscle strength level, enhance self-care ability, shorten hospitalization time, which was worthy of clinical application and promotion.
