Research progress on risk factors of neck discomfort in patients after head and neck surgery
Neck discomfort after surgery refers to symptoms such as pain,stiffness,soreness,weakness,limited mobility and so on in the neck of patients after head and neck surgery.Neck discomfort after head and neck surgery is influenced by various factors,and currently there is no accurate medical explanation for the specific pathogenesis of postoperative neck discomfort.This leads to incomplete understanding of neck discomfort after head and neck surgery by medical personnel,resulting in a lack of targeted and effective intervention measures.According to the causes of neck discomfort after head and neck surgery,the risk factors can be divided into demography factors such as age,gender,smoking,occupation,etc.,surgical factors such as surgical positions,surgical time,surgical method,wound area,postoperative braking etc.,and psychological factors.At present,research on the risk factors of neck discomfort after head and neck surgery has focused on demographic and sociological data,while surgical and psychological factors have not received sufficient attention.This article reviews the research progress of the mechanisms and risk factors of neck discomfort after head and neck surgery,in order to improve the relevant understanding of nursing staff and provide reference for the formulation of clinical nursing measures in the next step.
