Related research progress of pertussis epidemiology
As one of the respiratory diseases, pertussis has a relatively large impact on the health of patients. From the perspective of pathogenic factors, the disease is mainly caused by pertussis and parapertussis. The disease can appear in multiple age groups, among them, with infants and young children being relatively more severe.Pertussis has a strong infectious,if reasonable treatment is not carried out timely,it may lead to the rapid spread of the disease, thereby triggering the occurrence of social public health events, which has very adverse impact on the full protection of people's health. In recent years, with the continous deepening of medical research work, pertussis vaccine has been reasonably popularized in the world. However, due to the influence of many factors, the disease has not yet been completely eradicated.Since the beginning of the 21st century, due to poor management and control, the problem of a minor outbreak of pertussis has appeared in some areas, which has laid a hidden danger for people's health. In order to effectively deal with this problem, this paper sortes out and summarizes the related research progress of pertussis epidemiology,in order to provide reference for the smooth development of follow-up studies.
