Clinical nursing progress of elderly patients with hypertension
Hypertension is a relatively common chronic disease,and the patient population is mostly elderly people.Hypertension disease has clinical characteristics such as a long course of disease,inability to cure,need for long-term medication to control blood pressure and so on.This disease is closely related to the occurrence and progression of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral infarction and coronary heart disease.Therefore,it is necessary to actively treat and nursing for this disease,stabilize the condition of hypertension disease,prevent the rise and repeated fluctuations of blood pressure in patients,and affect the health of elderly patients.Drug therapy can effectively control blood pressure levels in elderly patients with hypertension,meanwhile nursing intervention is also a key aspect of stabilizing patient blood pressure.Therefore,clinical practice attaches great importance to nursing intervention for elderly patients with hypertension,and continuous exploration and research are being conducted.Elderly hypertensive patients,due to their older age,generally lack related knowledge about hypertension.They may not take medication in a timely manner,forget to take medication,and have poor lifestyle habits.Therefore,effective nursing is needed for them.This article reviews the nursing methods for elderly hypertensive patients,elaborates on the epidemiological characteristics of the disease and the characteristics of elderly hypertension,and analyzes the nursing content of patients,in order to provide guidance for the clinical nursing of elderly hypertensive patients.
