Investigation and analysis of current using situation about intravenous infusion tools
Objective To deeply understand and master the current usage status of intravenous infusion tools,in order to provide assistance for the clinical use of intravenous infusion tools. Methods This article was based on research data from Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obsterics from 2018 to 2020,and used chart analysis method to quantitatively analyze and qualitatively summarize the use of newly inserted infusion tools and corrosive drug tools by patients. Results In the past three years, the infusion rate of hospitalized patients in this hospital had remained above 50.00%,and the infusion tools mainly used peripheral venous indwelling needles, disposable steel needles, central venous catheters PICC and CVC.Analysis of newly inserted infusion tools showed that from 2018 to 2020,the proportion of indwelling needles used was over 98.00%,while the use of disposable steel needles showed a decreasing trend year by year(0.29%in 2020).In 2020,the total proportion of PICC and CVC used was 0.68%(0.64%in 2018).Analysis of tools for the use of corrosive drugs showed that the proportion of indwelling needles used in 2020 was 90.91%,the proportion of PICC used in 2020 was 5.19%,and the proportion of CVC used in 2020 was 3.90%.Conclusion The use of intravenous infusion tools was still mainly peripheral venous indwelling needles, and the use of central venous catheters PICC and CVC was basically on the rise year by year. The use of intravenous infusion tools complied with INS standards and relevant nursing technical operation norms.
