Therapeutic effect of ventilator-assisted ventilation on severe respiratory failure
Objective To observe and analyze the recovery of patients with severe respiratory failure after receiving mechanical ventilation treatment, and evaluate the application value and clinical effects of this measure, aiming to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment work. Methods Sixty patients with severe respiratory failure admitted to Gaotang County People's Hospital from December 2020 to November 2021 were selected as the evaluation subjects. They were divided into study group and control group using random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The study group received non-invasive sequential mechanical ventilation treatment, while the control group received invasive mechanical ventilation treatment. The treatment effect, treatment related indicators and inflammatory factor levels of the two groups of patients were compared and analyzed. Results The clinical indicators related to treatment in the study group were superior to those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of various inflammatory factors in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.67%,which was higher than 73.33%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.405 2,P<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive sequential mechanical ventilation therapy had obvious advantages in severe respiratory failure patients, which could help shorten recovery time, reduce inflammatory factor levels, and had promotional application value.
