Effect of health education nursing on elderly patients with acute appendicitis
Objective To analyze the index status of elderly patients with acute appendicitis after the implementation of health education nursing,and to evaluate its application value.Methods A total of 50 elderly patients with acute appendicitis treated in Gaotang County People's Hospital from October 2020 to September 2021 were selected.They were randomly divided into study group and control group,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing and the study group was given health education nursing based on control group.The clinical indexes,incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between two groups after the implementation of nursing measures.Results The clinical indexes of the study group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications of the study group was 4.00％,which was lower than 28.00％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.357 1,P＜0.05).The total nrusing satisfaction rate in the study group was 100.00％,which was higher than 76.00％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.818 2,P＜0.05).Conclusion In the nursing of elderly patients with acute appendicitis,health education nrusing had played a significant advantage.It could not only help patients effectively improve pain and shorten hospital stay,but also promote the inhibition of complications and the improvement of patient satisfaction.It was worthy of clinical promotion and promotion.
