The impact of follow-up management and early intervention on the growth and development of premature infants
Objective To explore the impact of follow-up management and early intervention on the growth and development of premature infants,in order to provide reference for improving the quality of life of premature infants.Methods A total of 80 premature infants admitted to Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into observation group and control group using the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received follow-up management and early intervention on the basis of the control group.The physical development,neuropsychological development,dysplasia condition and family members'satisfaction degree score of premature infants of two groups were compared.Results The weight,length and head circumference of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of social behavior,fine motor skills,gross motor skills,adaptability and language proficiency,MDI score and PDI score of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of dysplasia in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 22.50%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P<0.05).The family membrers'satisfaction degree scores of communication ability,specialized nursing,high-quality service,nursing attitude and health education in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Follow-up management and early intervention could promote the physical and neuropsychological development of premature infants,reduce the occurrence of adverse phenomena such as cerebral palsy,and improve the satisafction degree of family members,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
