The application value of standardized first aid nursing in elderly patients with critical illness
Objective To observe the effectiveness of standardized first aid nursing in elderly patients with critical illness,in order to provide reference for nursing of elderly patients.Methods A total of 96 elderly patients with critical illness admitted to Gaotang County People's Hospital from August 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into observation group and control group,with 48 cases in each group,using computer random filling method.The control group received routine first aid nursing,while the observation group received standardized first aid nursing on the basis of the control group.The rescue time,referral time,hospitalization time,nursing satisfaction rate and rescue success rate of two groups of patients were observed.Results The rescue time,referral time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group was 97.92％,which was higher than 79.17％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=8.316 6,P＜0.05).The success rate of rescue in the observation group was 95.83％,which was higher than 77.08％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.206 7,P＜0.05).Conclusion Implementing standardized first aid nursing for elderly patients with critical illness could shorten their rescue time,improve the success rate of rescue and nursing satisfaction rate,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
