Application effect of interventional therapy in patients with middle and advanced stage liver cancer
Objective To research the effectiveness of interventional treatment for patients with middle and advanced stage liver cancer,in order to provide reference experience for clinical practice. Methods A total of 80 patients with middle and advanced stage liver cancer who received treatment at Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from May 2019 to May 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into conventional treatment group and intervention treatment group, with 40 cases in each group, using random number table method.Patients in the conventional treatment group received conventional drug treatment, while those in the intervention treatment group received intervention treatment. The clinical efficacy, liver function indicators(including ALT,TBIL,AFP and ALB)before and after treatment and the incidence of complications during treatment between two groups of patients were compared. Results The total effective rate in the intervention treatment group was 95.00%,which was higher than 75.00%in the conventional treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.275,P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in various indicators of liver function between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the liver function indicators of the two groups were better than those before treatment, and the intervention treatment group had better liver function indicators than the conventional treatment group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the intervention treatment group was 7.50%,which was significantly lower than 27.50%in the conventional treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.541,P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to conventional drug therapy, interventional therapy for patients with middle and advanced stage liver cancer had a better effect, higher treatment effectiveness, better improvement of liver function indicators, lower incidence of complications, and higher clinical application value.
