Epidemiological analysis of children's mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in hospital from 2020 to 2022
Objective To explore the epidemiological characteristics of children's mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)infection of Tianjin region during the the period of 2020-2022,and to provide evidence for clinical prevention and treatment of MP.Methods The data of 60 785 children with respiratory tract infections hospitalized in Tianjin Children's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were collected, and the situation of MP infection was analyzed. The detection method was passive agglutination, and SPSS 19.0 software was used for data processing. Results A total of 3 961 cases of MP positive were detected in 60 785 pediatric patients, with a positive rate of 6.52%;the positivity rates of MP from 2020 to 2022 were 7.05%,6.40%and 630%,respectively.The three-year MP positivity rates were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison of MP positivity rates in different seasons showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The MP positivity rates were higher in autumn and winter seasons,at 6.91%and 8.24%,respectively.The comparison of MP positivity rates among different age groups showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05),with school aged children having the highest MP positivity rate. The positive rate of MP in female pediatric patients was 7.53%,which was higher than that in male pediatric patients with 5.75%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The control measures implemented in Tianjin region played an effective role in preventing MP infection.Autumn and winter were the peak period of MP infection in Tianjin children, and the most common age was school-age children and adolescent children, female children were more susceptible than male children, the detection and prevention of mycoplasma pneumoniae should be strengthened in clinic,in order to effectively reduce the infection rate of MP.
